Fire rated corrugated PP sheets (also known as flame-retardant correx sheets or fireproof coroplast sheets) are manufactured by adding flame-retardant additives into polypropylene (PP) during the extrusion process.These sheets are designed to reduce flammability, slow down combustion, and provide self-extinguishing properties, making them suitable for environments where fire safety is critical.
Compared with standard corrugated PP sheets, fire rated sheets maintain the same lightweight structure and durability while offering enhanced fire protection performance.
Fire rated corrugated PP sheets are widely used in construction, industrial, and safety-critical environments. Structure & Materials
Fire rated correx sheets are classified into different levels based on flame-retardant performance:
- V2: Flame extinguishes within 60 seconds (dripping allowed)
- V1: Flame extinguishes within 60 seconds (no dripping)
- V0: Flame extinguishes within 30 seconds (highest level)
Fire rated sheets are produced by incorporating flame-retardant masterbatch into polypropylene resin during extrusion.
This creates:

- Slower combustion rate
- Self-extinguishing behavior
- Enhanced fire safety performance
At the same time, the sheets retain the original advantages of PP hollow boards such as lightweight, waterproof, and chemical resistance.
